One week, every month, Theatre 4the People brings an artist out to Deckel Farm in Holmes NY. They stay in a donated living space. We give them a small stipend for food and travel. We let them create, recharge, collaborate, rest, or revise. Whatever they need. We don’t charge. We don’t demand a product, We don’t restrict. This is a place for artists, run by artists.

We produce one or two shows each season, usually developed out of our residency programs. As we grow, we hope to be able to produce more of the work we develop as we continue to keep our ticket prices affordable for all.

T4tP is run by a Co-Op of artists. Each year Artists are invited to join the Co-Op, contributing new work, support for our programming, and leading the company through discussion and collaboration, as we build a better and more supportive community of theatre makers.
